Movie review: Zombie Land, Gamer, Avatar

Zombie Land,
This was a funny movie! I loved it, language could have been better. It's not really necessary to drop the F bomb 15 times in one sentence. That's why I recommend that before you watch Zombie land you get a language sensor. I can't highlight it enough that they cuss a lot more than necessary all the way through the movie. Other than that I give this movie 2 thumbs up.

BAD MOVIE! I can't even convey how much of a let down this movie was. The only character that was even explained out was Cable, The villain... All I got was that he was a psychopath with cash. That's it, nothing more. The movie started out great but then it was like they ran out of cash and cut it short. It built up really well and then nothing. Really stupid. Oh yeah by the way this movie was a porno deluxe. That's right, Testosterone drippier. It was the absolute WORST MOVIE EVER! I would rather watch Napoleon Dynamite, ( A movie I hate with a passion,) or Enchanted before even considering watching this movie again. Who ever wrote this thing needs to be BURNT ALIVE, REVIVED, STABBED TO DEATH, REVIVED AGAIN, AND BEHEADED. AND THEN HIS BRAIN NEEDS TO BE BIOPSIED SO A CURE CAN BE FOUND. So yeah if you haven't figured it out yet, this movie goes in to the EPIC FAIL category.

This movie was the definition of why we go to movies. We go to be entertained, not informed. My hat is off to the entire crew, phenomenal job guys! The best movie I have ever had the pleasure to watch. I'm dead serous when I say that the only way it could have been any better was if it was played in a 4-D theater with all the trimmings. This movie deserves TO TAKE EVERY CAKE AVAILABLE I look forward to fruitful careers to all involved. And to other movie people, I hope you were TAKING NOTES THIS IS A MOVIE. I had an ADRENALIN RUSH THROUGH OUT. However, Tree hugger angle towards the end... There's a song that goes: "The world has needs, that's a lesson learned." OK? We get it, pollution bad, consumer culture bad, nature and tree's good. Another thing, this movie isn't every one's cup o' tea. Bible belt Grand parents beware, Holier-than-thou-rollers steer clear, there is nakedness but not complete nudity. Nothing is shown, male or female. Language was mild, swearing was used only to convey intensity in the correct and understandable situations such as extreme stress .

X-men Origins review (Warning Spoilers)

I recently saw X-men Origins. A great movie, but there were a few flaws, first off it seriously lacked the... physical mutation factor that many fans have come to love, next thing was I really would have preferred seeing a different character instead of Zero as Strikers right hand, say Domino perhaps... On that note they used a lot of lesser known characters in the movie, majority of whom you would have to be a long term Marvel fan to know.
I would like to point out if they were going to use as many lesser known characters as they did, they should have most definitely developed them more. thus why I said they should have used more widely known characters.
They also lacked the feminine brutality that X-men females bring to the table, (Given Silver Fox (Lynn Collins) is one of the softer feminine personality's)
There were two really great actors for that movie, Hue Jackman (Wolverine) and Taylor Kitsch (Gambit) They both had apparently done a ton of research on their characters, both were dead on with the persona of their characters and the action/ reaction in the scenarios between their characters. Lynn Collins also apparently did her share of research, and I was over all thrilled at her perform ace as well. The down fall was I felt that the other actors didn't... meet the standard. There for made the Persona equation unbalanced.
I would have also liked to have seen Death pool ramble on a lot more and a lot faster in the back ground during the beginning of the movie, it would have helped some newer fans to get and despise him a little more, and identify him to the old and ancient hands in the Marvel fan base (also would have made Logan look less like a short fuse in the plane seen) and over all would have made the ending all that much better.
I liked the ending but like I said the for play could have been better.

Taken: acting was great, Story line was phenomenal, but you see they could have done better on it, they missed a lot of small things. should have done more research, Tsk, tsk tsk.

Race to Which mountain: Great movie, will be better on DVD, Why? it was advertised as a kids movie so there are a lot of Screaming little kids in the theater, most of whom have parents too absorbed in the movie to get the kids to sit down shut up and watch the movie. Makes it hard to pay attention to the movie.

Movie Recomendations

Has any one else seen the Wolverine origin trailer? I did, It's FANTASTIC! could have picked a better time to play it though...
I went to see the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still, not as good as the original story line but it did have better special effects, and right before the movie started they played the trailer for Wolverine origin, for those who have yet to see it, it is an Adrenalin rush all by it's self, so right as the movie is starting I'm coming down from a major Adrenalin rush. It made it really hard to get in to the movie.

Any how I recommend it to X men fans, from what I saw they stick pretty close to the original Wolverine Origin comic book, It hits theaters May 6Th.

Another movie I'm going to recommend is Fan Boys, This is for any one who is or knows any Star Wars fanatics, not blurry the line between reality and fantasy nuts, real fanatics. I'm not going to give any of it away, I'd rather let you find out for your self, It comes out February 6Th.

Going back to The Day The Earth Stood Still, as I mentioned above not as good as the original, it turns in to a tree huger movie towards the end, kinda kills it, The original is much MUCH better in terms of story line. For those who don't know this is the third remake of the story line. by the original I mean the first remake not the actual original, I have yet to see that.

Memory for 9/11

Well, it's come and gone again and it still hurts like an open wound. The liberals say we can't handle the view of it.
Why we would find it offencive to be reminded of it every day is beyond me. I don't know why they say it stained our reputation.
This is America we don't sit on our hands and do nothing. We stand up and fight back.
We needed this kick in our pants to remind us that the world is still there, that everyone wants to take down number one, that there is still evil around us. I am not saying that this was a good thing, but if you think about it 1 out of 4 planes fought back. If we haven't become lazy then what have we become to let this happen?

Doctor Who news

Doctor Who is going to skip a year and not start season five until 2010!
I am not happy about this!!! how could they do this to the fans?!?! I hope they don't skip on the Christmas specials... by the way... any one know how to track down last years?
I had our D.V.R set to record it last year and went to the movies that night... My youngest sister didn't want to watch and so it went in to my mom who decided that the Si-Fi channel would show it again... No such luck!
I found out later that she doesn't listen when I say anything about Doctor Who.
I had been freaking out about it for three months and had said that "You cant track them down after they premier because they do not show them again after that." but she didn't listen. Big surprise. She thinks any thing I say is of little or no value as it is. We are not that close.

Further moonlight agervation

Just found out that Moonlight was scheduled for a second season because it won the Peoples choice award for best new drama. CBS has officially gotten on my last nerve. Any one who reads this please help me to boycott this back stabbing, lying, self centered, greedy T.V network by no longer watching CBS until a public explanation for the actions that CBS has committed is rendered. If you have favorite shows on this network there are ways of watching those shows with out endorsing CBS. Other networks cray just about all of the shows that CBS has.
